Pets for Patriots
The Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter is proud to support our veterans. We have joined the Pets for Patriots Program to partner veterans with devoted companions. By signing up , veterans receive discounted adoption fee, pet related gift cards as well as discounts on vetting.
How It Works

Look at our available animals Here. Eligible pets must be 2 years or older, over 40 pounds, have special needs, OR be homeless for six months or longer. Most adult animals qualify.

Submit an adoption application for a specific animal (or in general) Here

Get pre-qualified with Pets for Patriots Here

Bring your approval letter to the shelter when you come for your adoption appointment!
